How to onboard your team efficiently

Getting payroll systems setup is a pain, which is why we've designed Headcount to be as easy as possible to get up and running in as little as 15 minutes.


Once you've setup your account, navigate over to the teams section and begin adding your team members.


You can add your teammates manually or invite them to onboard themselves. Since we don't like data entry, we're going to invite our teammates.

Go ahead and enter their email and we'll take care of the rest. Your teammate will get an email requesting them to fill out their information and that's it!

You'll also be able to keep track of which users haven't onboarded yet by looking at the little dot to the left of the person which indicates their status. Yellow means they're still onboarding and green means they're all good!

Adding a contractor manually

You can also onboard a contractor manually from the Teams page. You can onboard both entities and individuals.

Once a contractor is onboarded, he'll appear green on the Teams page and you'll need to set his rate and job title.


That's it! You're done!

Your team is officially on boarded!
